Article I: Name
Section 1:
The name of this organization shall be the American Heritage High School
Chapter of Mu Alpha Theta.
Article II: Purpose
Section 1:
The purpose of this chapter shall be:
a. To promote and recognize scholarship and interest
in the field of mathematics at American Heritage School.
b. To provide a responsible peer help service in
mathematics to the upper school students at American Heritage School.
c. To provide a social group for students with a
high aptitude in mathematics.
Article III: Sponsor
Section 1:
The sponsor must be a faculty member with permanent or semi-permanent
standing
Section 2:
The national Secretary-Treasurer must be kept informed of the current
faculty sponsor's name and address.
Section 3:
The sponsor has the power to advise, administer elections and coordinate
competition events for the members.
